Speakers
Tom Neal is a Director of Interest Rate Management at First National Bank, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In that role he works with FNB customers to structure and execute various interest rate solutions involving swaps and options with a focus on Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Prior to joining FNB, Tom spent 15 years with the Derivative Products Group at PNC Bank. Before his career in finance, Tom was an aerospace engineer, most recently with Northrup Grumman in Baltimore, MD. He also had stints at Pratt & Whitney and at a subsidiary of GE Aerospace. Tom is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Aaron Applebaum is Counsel for Sidley Law in Washington, D.C. with a sector focus on Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy, and Energy. Aaron is an experienced international trade and customs lawyer focusing on advising companies on all aspects of U.S. customs law, including compliance counseling and planning, responding to government inquiries and enforcement actions, and customs-related litigation. Aaron began his legal career at a multinational consumer electronics company, where he performed regulatory compliance diligence on acquisition targets, and designed, implemented, and administered trade compliance programs.
