Gain insights on the essentials of making non-deceptive “Made in the USA” claims from FTC staff. In most instances, in order to label a product as “Made in USA,” a marketer must be able to demonstrate that the product was “all or virtually all” made in the United States.
Understand differing legal standards applicable to “Made in USA” claims for manufactured products, textiles, wool products, and others.
Learn about the FTC’s enforcement program, including legal consequences for deceptive or fraudulent use of U.S.-origin claims.
